Devi Navaratri Mahopasana
This Devi Navaratri, Ramaneswaram will become the sacred centre of an intense 10-day Devi Mahopasana, beginning on October 11 and continuing through Vijayadashami on October 20, 2026.
Ramaneswaram is home to 134 sacred forms of the Divine Mother. Throughout Navaratri, special worship will be performed through Mantra Japa, Abhishekam, Havanam and Devi Aradhana.
The Mahopasana includes special worship connected with the Navadurgas, Dasha Mahavidyas and Ashta Matrikas, along with other sacred Devi forms at Ramaneswaram.

Mantra Japa
Sacred Devi mantras will be chanted as part of the ten-day spiritual discipline and Upasana.
Devi Abhishekam
Special Abhishekams will be offered to different forms of the Divine Mother during the Navaratri celebrations.
Navakunda Havanam
Every day, sacred Havanam will be performed in nine Homa Kundas with powerful Devi mantras.
Devi Aradhana
Different forms of Devi will receive special worship throughout the ten sacred days.
